Happy New Year Sherman:

Excellent photographs of Hong Kong, you do have a talent in photography. I was once like you, grew up in Hong Kong, love the buses, trams, ferries and of course the many many sights of home. I used to take lots and lots of photographs with my non-digital 35mm Nikon FM and I couldn\'t wait for the film to be developed. I shot so many parts of Hong Kong and when I saw your digital photographs of home, it brings back so much good memories. I moved from Hong Kong to the United States since 1982 but my heart will always be in Hong Kong. I came here to study and became a producer and director in the film/video business so when I tell you that you have talent, you do. Please keep up the good work and perhaps use your \"eyes\" to get a career in digital photography, you will be good at it. Good luck, I will be back to see more wonderful shots of yours, the shots that really capture our home, Hong Kong.

Hey, thanks for sharing these pictures. As a Hong Kong immigrant myself, these pictures bring back some good memories. Now I live in Canada - your Quebec City pictures are very nice too. Keep up the good work!

in search for FZ4577 I bumped into your website, and recognized the photos I enjoyed in skyscrapercity.

I appreciate your gift and effort in your bus photos. your photos of the non a/c KMB buses are stunning capturing motions, the rare moments of encounter of several non a/c bus siblings, and the loved buses with their surroundings and beautiful cityscape and nature. as a non a/c bus enthusiast and a bus photographer myself i can tell your photos should have been taken you lots of hours and hard work as well as patience in capturing those magic moments. Your photos will be my inspiration to my works, especially it will be the very last years of career of our beloved HK non a/c buses. keep up your good work. Cheers!

Yes, most of my photos were shot with a Canon 350D; some with my new 50D.

Many thanks for all the gentle comments.
