Trams in Hong Kong 香港電車

Tram is one of the oldest means of transportation in Hong Kong. The tram company, Hong Kong Tramways, was founded in 1904 and owns and operates a fleet of 163 tramcars carrying a daily average of 240,000 passengers along the northern coast of Hong Kong Island. It is the world's largest fleet of double-deck tramcars still in service and also a popular tourist attraction in the city. A single ride cost merely $2 HK dollars for any distance travelled. There are 123 tram stops in total and a ride from Kennedy Town to Sha Kei Wan takes approximately 80 mins.
