The bus network in London is one of the largest in the world and covers nearly the whole of the city. Approximately 700 bus routes and 8,000 buses are operated by numerous bus operators in the city, and all buses carry the same London red livery and are equipped with the Oyster Card Smartcard Payment System.
Excluding the Routemasters, all buses in London are now super-low-floor vehicles, which can be single-deck, single-deck articulated, or double-deck.
