Guarded by four lion statue around its base, the momument of Nelson's Column stands at the centre of Trafalgar Square in the heart of London and draws crowd of tourists and locals every day and night. As the largest public square in London, it has been a popular place for many artistic events as well as protests. To the south is Whitehall - a road surrounded by government ministries that leads to the Palace of Westminster.
