Quebec City is located in the eastern part of Canada and the captial of the Canadian province of Quebec with a population of approximately five hundred thousand. Quebec has the largest French population, and over 95% of the city population can read and converse in French. The city is one of the oldest European settlements in North America and is remarkable for its historic district(Old Quebec/Vieux-Québec), which is the only remaining fortified city walls in the continent and inscribed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.
Photos below were taken on Dec. 2004 during my six-day visit to the Quebec Province. The most memorable experience from this trip is the temperature!
