Southern District is the largest district on Hong Kong Island and located in the southern part of the island facing South China Sea and Pacific Ocean. Some famous areas and attractions in the district includes Aberdeen, Ocean Park, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market, Wah Fu Estate, Shek O, Pok Fu Lam Village and etc. The eastern part of the district is also renowned for its beaches, namely Deep Water Bay, Repulse Bay beach, Big Wave Bay, Shek O and Stanley beaches.
Stanley is a peninsula situated in the southeastern part of Hong Kong Island. The town is renowned for its international restaurants and bars on the waterfront along the main street and its open-air market.

Wah Fu Estate is one of the oldest and largest public housing complex in Hong Kong. It is situated at the westernmost of the district near Cyberport facing Pok Po Wan or Waterfall Bay. Wah Fu Estate I & II has a total of 18 residential blocks completed between 1967 and 1978, housing around 31,000 residents at the moment. The estate was built according to the principles of Feng Shui with its back to the mountain and facing the sea - a feature residents are grateful for.
