Wanchai District is located east of Central & Western District on Hong Kong Island and covers the areas of Wanchai, Causeway Bay, Happy Valley and Jardine's Lookout. Its residents on average has the highest income among the 18 district. It is one of the most busiest commercial, shopping and entertainment areas of the city, and it is the only district without any public housing estates in Hong Kong. A series of reclamations have created new lands for office and hotel development, and renewing projects are taking place in the area as the residential zones are facing urban decay.
